empalme (splice, not joint)
I had previously added the glossary term for empalme = joint.
But I just found out the correct term is "splice" when it refers to cables.
Please make note of the change in case you need to make any revisions. I'll update the glossary now for empalme = splice.

El MLE proporcionado debe ser manufacturado de una corrida continua, y no debe contener ningún empalme.
The provided MLE must be manufactured of a continuous run, and must not contain splices.
