Acronyms: S.A. and S.L.
Hi, everyone. In my document I have lots of names of companies that are S.A. (Sociedad Anónima) and S.L. (Sociedad Limitada). In English S.A. is "Inc." and S.L. is "Ltd." My question is: names of companies remain unchanged in documents, right? But do we have to translate the S.A. and S.L.? Eg., Banco Santander S.A. would be Banco Santander Inc.? Or everything remains unchanged, acronyms included? Thanks!

I would guess that we leave them as SA and SL as parts of a proper company name.
Not sure if this is the best example, but I've noticed on Mexican food products in the U.S. that the Mexican companies always retain the "S.A." even though the rest of the label is in English.

Yes, I imagined we had to leave them like that. Just wanted to check with you. Thanks!

In my opinion, S.A. and L.A. are part of the company names and should not be changed.
